Leandra has been teaching flute privately in her own studio for over 25 years. She teaches all ages and levels, from just beginning to college and adults. Teaching has been a huge part of her passion for playing flute. It gives her a chance to share her enthusiasm and years of experience with other people who are passionate about flute as well.
Many of her students perform at the district, state and higher levels of musicianship and competition. Leandra has been fortunate to guide many of her students into Music and flute performance majors in college.
Leandra also enjoys teaching beginning students and all levels in between as she relates to the struggles and triumphs of learning an instrument from scratch.
